How to create a View?
To create your view, follow these steps
Following these steps will direct you to the View builder, where you will configure your new View…
Naming
- View Names should be capitalized in Title Case and words should be separated with spaces.
- Views should be named in the following format Object ViewType - Filter or Description (e.g. Contacts List - Vendors, Events Calendar - Exams)
Configuration Best Practices
- It is a good idea to configure a View to work with all View types. That way if a user switches a View type, the View will still look good. For example, if you build a card View, test the configurations of the other types (e.g. deck, gallery, calendar, etc.).
- Make sure the view works for desktop and mobile.
- Remember to edit related Views to select the fields and order of these lists.
