How to create a Gallery View
To start building your Gallery View, navigate to the View Builder within your application settings.

- Select Gallery View as your view type.
- Choose the specific Application and Object you wish to visualize.
- Configure the card layout and data fields as described in the sections below.
Different features of Gallery View Builder
The builder is divided into logical sections to help you customize the visual and functional aspects of your gallery.
General Settings

| View Type | Select “Gallery View” from the available options. |
| Application ID | The specific application where this view will reside. |
| Object | The data source/object that populates the gallery. |
| Card Type | Choose between Fixed Size Grid (default), Masonry Style Grid, or Lightbox for image presentation. |
View Configuration

|---|---|
| Fields | Choose which data fields to display on the cards. |
| Group By | Aggregate data based on values like “Owner ID” or “Created By”. |
| Order By | Sort your gallery based on specific field values. |
| Size | Set the thumbnail size to tiny, small, medium, or large. |
| Image | Map the primary image field that will serve as the card’s visual. |
| Visible Rows | Define the number of rows to display per page. |
Advanced & Security Settings
- Visibility: Define the view as Public or Private to control user access.
- Drilldown Options: Specify which view (Detail, Form, or Inspector) opens when a user clicks a gallery card.
- Buttons: Configure View Buttons (e.g., Filter, Add New) and Record Buttons (e.g., Edit, Delete, Clone) to allow users to interact with the data directly from the gallery.
UI Customization
You can further personalize the interface by adding Custom Labels for existing buttons or creating entirely new Custom Buttons to trigger specific application logic.
How to publish a Gallery View
Once your configuration is complete, use the Publish action to make the view live within your application.

How to edit a Gallery View
To make changes to an existing gallery, locate the view in your settings and click the Edit icon. You can update any configuration from the Card Type to the Drilldown behavior.

If a view is no longer needed, you can remove it using the Delete button. Note that you must have the appropriate permissions in your user role to perform this action.
