Menus in SnapApp are used to help users move around your application easily. You can use menus to add links to pages, features, or even custom HTML content.

Menus can appear in different places such as:

  • Top (Header)
  • Left (Sidebar)
  • Footer
  • User Menu

How to Create a Menu

Follow these simple steps to create your first menu:

  1. Click on the Settings icon from the User menu on the top bar.
  2. From the left-side navigation, go to UX → Menus.

Example: You can create a menu named “Quick Links” that contains links like Home, Profile, and Help.


Below are the common settings you will see while creating or editing a menu:

Location Where the menu will appear:
• Left (Sidebar)

Mobile Full Width Makes the menu take full width on mobile devices.
Show Labels Shows or hides the text labels of menu items.
Push Content Expanding the menu pushes the page content instead of overlapping it.
Responsive Shows the menu at the bottom on mobile devices.
Collapse Adds a button to expand or collapse the menu.
Active Turns the menu on or off.

Editing a Menu

If you want to change an existing menu:

  1. Open Settings from the User menu.
  2. Go to UX → Menus.

  4. Click the Edit button under the Action column.
