SnapApp’s GCS Inbound Integration allows docs from Google Cloud Storage to be ingested, processed, and stored in SnapApp. Inbound processes in GCS involve uploading various kinds of documents (such as PDFs, Images, Documents) from various sources, such as local storage, other cloud services, or external databases, to GCS buckets.

Create GCS Inbound

  1. Navigate to Settings from the User menu of the top bar.
  2. Tap on Integrations from the Automation menu of the left navigation bar.
  3. Tap on +Add New and fill in the fields → Save
Fields Description
Name The name of the integration
Type Type of integration should be GCS Inbound
Object ID The destination object where the file would be ingested to
Field This will be targeted field for the file
Active Enabling this will activate your integration
File Type Choose file type as File or Document AI
Parser Name Select the appropriate parser from the list corresponding to the DocAI field. Only for DocAI File Type
Source Bucket The ingest GCS bucket where the documents will be uploaded
Processed Bucket The destination GCS bucket where the processed files gets stored after being parsed and validated

Edit GCS Inbound

  1. Navigate to Settings from the User menu of the top bar.
  2. Tap on Integrations from the Automation menu of the left navigation bar, and tap the Edit button to make configuration changes to the Integration.

Delete GCS Inbound

  1. Navigate to Settings from the User menu of the top bar.
  2. Tap on Integrations from the Automation menu of the left navigation bar, and tap the Delete button to make configuration changes to the Integration.

Workflow of GCS Inbound

  1. Upload documents to ingest GCS bucket.
  2. Push endpoint URL for a particular Pub/Sub (queued message service) subscription topic will be triggered each time when data gets published in that Pub/Sub topic.
  3. For each trigger with new data, SnapApp will detect new data.
  4. Processed GCS bucket gets updated.
