The pagebuilder is overly complicated for average users who just want to post a question to a forum. See this example:

To resolve this, I think the KB object should have a setting to use pagebuilder or Rich Text editor. If they choose the latter, they should use Rich Text editor that is available for LongText fields instead of pagebuilder to create and edit entries.
